Fondiando’l vuelu means «landing the flight» o «anchored flight» Our association is a non-profit organization dedicated to building resilient and regenerative communities, fostering sustainability, and promoting community lifestyles. Our organization is deeply rooted in the principles of environmental stewardship, social inclusion, and holistic education, and aims to empower young people through hands-on experiences in self-sufficiency, permaculture, and collective decision-making.

Cooperative Villanueva de Fíos
We are a cooperative committed to rural revitalization and sustainable living through a self-managed community model. Our approach focuses on housing managed under a transfer-of-use system, along with the development of infrastructure and essential services that ensure a low impact, high quality life. We also promote cooperativism, education, and cultural initiatives that strengthen the social fabric and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable future for rural communities.

Currently, there are between 4 and 8 of us living on the land as we continue to build our life together.
SCALES
We are working towards Sociocracy. This is how we organize ourselves into working groups.; Land, Care and Management.
La escama Ritmo incorporates proposals and needs from each working group into the organization of our online and in-person meetings.
In addition to our escamas (scales), we have coexistence circles for firewood, protection and safety, cleaning and hygiene, and cooking.
